Reporting to the manager, Prenatal Care Team and Adult Surgery Inpatient Unit, the Registered Nurse will be responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process in the delivery of family centred care consistent with the philosophy, objectives, vision and mission of the IWK Health Centre. The nurse will collaborate with families to deliver safe and evidence informed care that is goal oriented and holistic. The successful candidates will have strong clinical judgment, excellent IV skills, and the ability to manage and triage referrals efficiently. Responsibilities will include safe administration of IV medications (iron, WinRho), monitoring for and responding to adverse reactions, and maintenance of accurate documentation.
Monday to Friday; 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
