Registered Nurse- Cardiac Catheterization Lab- Temporary Part Time

DUTIES

• Participates and collaborates with other health care providers in provision of patient care.
• Effectively uses the Standards of Nursing Practice and the Nursing Process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the patient.
• Provides health teaching to patients and family.
• Working in a fast paced environment, assisting cardiologist with invasive cardiac procedures including angiography, right heart catheterizations and measurements, pacemaker insertions.
• Post procedure monitoring including removal of femoral sheaths.
• Working wearing lead apron/vest and thyroid collar (10-15 lbs.) all day.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate of competency in Ontario.
• ACLS certification, current within last two years with experience.
