**Description:**

**Position Purpose:** The Program Coordinator provides administrative oversight within the Bariatric Center under the supervision of the Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery. This position will be comprised of both administrative and clinical roles for the purpose of development of the Bariatric Surgical Program and the care of its patients.

**_What you will do:_**

+ Develops, coordinates and provides the education for patients, families, nursing an ancillary staff. Serves as a liaison between the bariatric center and other services lines in Saint Francis hospital for the coordination in care of bariatric surgical patients.
+ Participate in staff and patient education as well as work in cooperation with the medical director to develop and manage community outreach efforts with other provider offices and community events.
