Summary The Float Pool and Support Services, Nurse Manager, is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other NMs as needed. Responsibilities The Float Pool and Support Services, Nurse Manager, duties include, but are not limited to the following: Demonstrates the fundamental knowledge of the unit and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
