Job Description Summary

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Education & Experience

• Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Licensure & Certifications

• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an equivalent. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
