Unit Overview

Medical 3C is a 40‑bed medical unit that specializes in adult patients, focusing on stroke recovery and cardiac care. The unit provides comprehensive care for individuals recovering from strokes, myocardial infarctions, congestive heart failure, and those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring for conditions such as atrial fibrillation or dysrhythmias. A multidisciplinary approach with daily rounds creates tailored care plans that address each patient’s unique needs. Staffing levels are optimized to ensure high‑quality care, typically with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 during the day, slightly higher at night.
