Position Overview

Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (Paediatric) responsible for providing family‑centered nursing care to children throughout the peri‑operative phase of care. The RN will assess nursing needs and collaborate with the inter‑professional team to ensure safe and ethical care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the nursing plan of care.
• Collaborate with the child/family and the interdisciplinary health‑care team.
• Maintain clinical competence and knowledge through continued education and life‑long learning.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice as the basis for professional accountability.
• Provide safe, competent, and ethical nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Baccalaureate Nursing Program.
