The Palliative Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care of adult patients and families with various types of chronic and life limiting disease. The RN is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care including patient education, assessment, care planning, and coordination. The RN will work with the interdisciplinary team to support care of the population in the ambulatory and hospital settings. Individuals applying for this position should be comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about being a partner in expanding and defining the role of the registered nurse in this dynamic practice.
