NICU Nurse – Neonatal

Schedule - Typical patient ratio: 2:1 (days, nights, weekends) - Block schedule available (can work 3+ shifts in a row if preferred) - Weekend coverage: intermittent

Requirements - Minimum 3 years neonatal experience - Auto-offer hardstop: minimum Level III NICU experience for 3+ years OR Level IV NICU for 2+ years - BLS certification - NRP certification - Experience with ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP, HF vents, oscillators) - Experience with blood/blood product administration - Central line/PICC care - Feeding tube placement/management (OG/NG/NJ), gavage feeding - Knowledge of syringe pump infusion management - Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation, therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blankets) - Ability to perform neonatal dosage calculations
