**POSITION PORPOSE**

+ The position supports the Trinity Health Ann Arbor (THAA) Surgical and Neuroscience ICU (2 North) a 20-bed unit in a Level 1 Trauma hospital.
+ Patients admitted to the SNICU require intensive care monitoring including those patients with hemodynamic instability, compromised respiratory status and frequent neurological monitoring during the post-operative period of hospitalization. The population of patients includes cardiothoracic surgery, trauma, vascular and general surgeries. Additionally, the SNICU treats a wide range of serious neurological conditions, including both ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, and aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
