Responsibilities Responsible for providing expert, evidence-based education to staff. Provides educational instruction and training for nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units. Understands instructional design, implementation, and application related to education and training. Performs learning needs assessments and develops educational trainings for clinical staff within the organization. Assists with orientation of new employees, evaluates their progress in the orientation process, and develops and implements a learning plan for improving identified deficiencies. Serves as a trainer and consultant for Resuscitation Education Initiative (Redi) Program including certification as a Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor.
