The Gastroenterology Clinic is the leading research and treatment unit for gastroenterological and gastrointestinal surgical patients in the Pohde region. Patients usually come to the clinic by referral and appointment. Patient care is provided according to regionally agreed care levels. Some patients arrive for examinations as emergencies from other hospital wards. The Gastroenterology and Urology outpatient services have been integrated into a cohesive unit at the F3 day hospital, including preparation, procedures, and follow‑up. Our outpatient activities include various endoscopic examinations and related procedures, as well as other gastroenterological and gastrointestinal surgical outpatient services.
