About The Role

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our McAuley and Callaghan ward.

Our Inpatient service has two ward locations available for Registered Nurses to work - McAuley/HDU (7 day ward) and Callaghan (5 day ward).

We welcome applications from nurses with previous experience working within general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic, cardiology/cardiac specialties and/or within a high dependency unit.

Specific duties include

• Provide optimum patient care in accordance with Mercy Hospital Shared Purpose and Values.
• Practice in accordance with the Domains of Competence for the Registered Nurse.
• Work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Maintain a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practising certificate.

This is a permanent, full-time 0.8 - 0.9 FTE position to be worked on a rotating roster.
