Position Overview
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Assist with onboarding and orientation of new staff to Mother Baby Unit.
2. Coordinates orientation schedule for Nurse Residents and new nursing staff.
3. Participate in and facilitate staff compliance with mandatory educational requirements.
4. Develop education plans and routing check in with new nursing staff.
5. Actively participate in education council and unit education meetings.
6. Promote professional development and ongoing education with staff.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
2. Valid NJ RN license.
3. Active BLS/NRP
Preferred:
1. Master's degree in nursing or related field.
2. 2+ years of Mother Baby experience preferred
