The Registered Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in a busy clinic pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service through direct in-person and phone-based interactions. This position responds to inbound and outbound calls, answers questions about pharmacy services and deliveries, completes refill and assistance calls, and helps resolve customer complaints. The technician receives and processes new pharmacy referrals, verifies insurance coverage, facilitates prior authorization requests, accurately transcribes prescriptions, generates and follows cycle fill reports, coordinates medication delivery, and serves as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries.
