The Registered Practical Nurse provides person-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice and the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario. Provides professional nursing care to residents and supervises care given by health care staff while ensuring quality person-focused health care is provided that is in accordance with Fixing Long Term Care Act standards and consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Providence Care Centre.
