Position Overview
Fundy Veterinarians, Shubenacadie location, is seeking a full‑time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor surgical procedures
- Perform lab work and provide animal care
- Work one evening per week, share Saturday mornings on a rotation
- Maintain accurate records using Avimark computer software
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in anesthesia protocols, surgical monitoring, lab work, and animal nursing care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- New graduates are welcome; mentoring available from our three experienced Technicians and RVT Hospital Manager
