Job Summary
To support clinical teaching and service in a general/urgent care practice of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. College Degree or any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job. A current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) License is required.
2. Ability to read, write and transfer medical records/ recommendations for overnight care.
3. Ability to calculate client’s bills, drug dosages, and dilutions.
4. Ability to restrain, handle and perform a physical exam on a variety of animal species. Broad species experience is desirable.
