The Position

We are seeking a GP or Registrar to provide primary healthcare services within a Youth Justice setting, commencing asap.
This is a weekly clinic on Wednesdays, Thursday and Fridays 9-5. And a 4-hour Saturday clinic, ideal for doctors looking to supplement their income with low-acuity, well-contained work.
You will be responsible for managing general medical needs of a small cohort, with onsite presence required as part of mandated healthcare coverage.

Health Service
The role is based within the Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre, part of Victoria’s youth justice system supporting young people aged 17+.
The centre is reopening in 2026 with a new model focused on lower-risk patients and rehabilitation, with smaller patient numbers and structured care delivery.
Healthcare services onsite include 24/7 primary and mental health support, working within a multidisciplinary, structured environment.
