Insight Global is seeking a Relay Protection & Controls Engineer to support one of the largest investor owned energy companies in the United States. This role sits within the Control Systems Engineering group under Central Engineering and supports transmission and distribution systems across the network, with a focus on both new and existing substations and power system assets.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining system reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance. The engineer will be responsible for the design, application, and implementation of protective relay systems, including performing detailed short circuit and fault studies using industry standard tools such as CAPE. Based on these analyses, the engineer will develop relay settings, coordination strategies, loadability analyses, and associated documentation.
