The Research Analyst provides stock coverage on assigned clients within Malaysia. Reporting to the Head of Research, the Research Analyst provides recommendations based on thorough analysis and company insights. He/she must be able to present and market their ideas effectively internally, to institutional sales and sales traders, and externally to clients. Typically he/she should cover 8 – 12 companies, determined by the Head of Research.

• Ensure the team has adequate financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage. At a minimum these models should be robust, internally consistent and have the ability to perform sensitivity analysis on key earnings drivers.
