Research Assistant II (Band Level 7) Division of Population Health and Applied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine

(Part‑Time, Contractual until December 31, 2026)

The University will consider applications from qualified permanent staff who may be interested in a secondment, subject to departmental approval.

Duties

• Scheduling interviews with pre‑selected participants for the study.
• Obtaining participant consent.
• Receiving participants into the data collection site.
• Performing cognitive tests.
• Performing vision and hearing assessments.
• Performing tests to assess mobility, balance, and hand strength.
• Measuring participants’ weight, height, blood pressure, lung function, ECHO cardiogram and ECG (training provided).
• Entering data using Beartooth and Pine software.
• Performing regular calibration and quality control of equipment.
