Responsibilities - Develop peptide cyclization methods
- Develop bioconjugation techniques using plant-derived AEPs and other enzymes
- Evaluate pharmacological activity of cyclic peptides and bioconjugates
- Supervise attachment students (FYP, URECA and interns)
- Develop and use AI tools for drug discovery
- Write up, publish and present research results in peer‑reviewed international journals and at scientific conferences
Qualifications - A PhD degree in biological sciences or related areas, with prior training in medicinal chemistry, peptide and protein science
- Experience in small‑molecule drug discovery, peptide synthesis, protein chemistry and bioconjugation research
- Experience in basic cell & molecular biology, analytical chemistry and biophysics techniques (bacterial and mammalian cell culture, PCR,...
