GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision the Grant/Contract Manager III is responsible for:

+ Monitoring the financial status of multiple grants within a functional group or team of Principal Investigators (PIs) in a department or division.

+ This role ensures compliance with accounting procedures, analyzes expenses to allocate grant funds accurately, and collaborates across departments to resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.

+ Additionally, this role will assist PIs in preparing research grant applications, focusing on budget preparation in adherence to internal and external guidelines.

+ This position requires strong financial forecasting, problem solving, and communication skills.


EDUCATION REQUIRED:

+ Bachelor's degree in health sciences, health related field, finance, or business.
