Job Description for Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (ENT) Doctors with a recognized medical qualification by the Singapore Medical Council and fully registered in their countries. Has at least 24 months postgraduate experience, with a minimum of 12 months in an Otolaryngology Department as a registrar, resident, medical officer or senior house officer.
Qualifications - Knowledge of common otolaryngology conditions, related head and neck pathology, anatomy and physiology
- Diagnosis, patient care and management of common otolaryngology conditions, including emergencies related to otolaryngology
- Basic office-based and emergency otolaryngology procedures
- Flexible and rigid nasal, laryngeal, endoscopy
- Aural toilet
- Intra-tympanic injections
- Removal of foreign body in the pharynx, nose and ear
- Epistaxis management
- Fine needle aspiration of lumps in the Head & Neck
