About Us
At Leo Street Youth & Family Services, we provide a welcoming, safe place where children, youth, and families find belonging. We are a not-for-profit organization contracted with the Ministry of Children and Family Development and serve hundreds of families each year across the Lower Mainland.
Qualifications
- A 2-year relevant diploma or equivalent of education/experience working with children and youth with behavioral, attachment and other needs from a Trauma-informed lens.
- Specific training in behavioral modification, attachment-based parenting, harm reduction, cultural safety, first aid, crisis intervention and relationship-based interventions (Trauma Informed Practice).
- Class 5 Driver’s License.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures safety and well‑being of children and youth at the Care Setting.
- Supports Youth in feeling comfortable and safe upon arriving at the Care Setting.
