Under the general supervision of the Manager of the unit, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling as a change agent. Develop, motivate, assess and negotiate as a change agent in an effort to enhance organizational effectiveness. Utilizes the nursing process to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Functions within the permissible scope of nursing practice as defined by the Georgia Board of Nursing and St. Joseph's/Candler Health System policies and procedures. Ability to work effectively with fellow employees, MDs, and patients, as well as the general public.
