Summary
JOB SUMMARY: Under medical direction, provides treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities with the cardio-pulmonary system. The charge therapist will function as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the department as well as acts as a liaison between the clinical leader and staff. REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 3-5 years of experience. Intubation Certification, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered by National Board for Respiratory Care.
