**Job Description**
The Respiratory Therapist III is an advanced Respiratory Therapist who has been trained and is independently functional in general ward therapy RT procedures, adult ventilator management, and adult care specialty functions that have been adjudged appropriate to shift need and approved by the Director of the Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine. Respiratory Care Service specialty functions include: Management of Pediatric-Neonatal Ventilators and related adjuncts, Performance of Arterial Punctures for Blood gas Analysis; Performance of Bronchoscopy Assist RT procedures; Performance of Emergency Department RT procedures. An Advanced Respiratory Therapist is expected to function as assigned in the subspecialty areas in which he/she has been trained and adjudged functionally competent.

+ Assoc. Degree/College Diploma Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar - minimum
