Job Summary We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs with daily food preparation. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of cutting, cleaning, and preparing food items while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities - Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meat, and other ingredients.
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation tasks.
- Follow proper cutting techniques and portion guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items (FIFO).
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Dispose of waste properly and minimize food wastage.
- Support opening and closing kitchen procedures.
