Retail Assistant – Checkouts (Woolworths Group Limited)

Location: Wellington City, NZ. Full‑time, on‑site position.

We are looking for a friendly, accurate Retail Assistant who will deliver efficient checkout service, engage customers, manage cash, maintain store standards, and contribute to service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient checkout service: accurately scan and pack orders, minimise wait times, and handle refunds courteously.
• Engage and resolve customer needs: create positive interactions, respond to queries, and, if necessary, escalates issues.
• Support cash management: assist with cash office activities including banking, reconciliations, and investigating variances.
