Retail Risk and Compliance Specialist

Location: Invercargill, New Zealand. Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Fixed term up to 24 months.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Retail leadership, frontline teams, and Risk & Compliance to embed strong risk practices.
• Support incident management and control oversight.
• Contribute to risk reporting and change initiatives.
• Promote clear ownership of risk and controls across the business.
• Maintain appropriate disclosure, member communication and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake first‑line risk assessment, monitoring and control oversight activities to support compliance with legislative requirements, regulatory expectations, internal policies, and the Bank’s risk management framework.
