About the Role

This 12‑month internship offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in all facets of reinsurance risk management. You’ll be an active contributor — not just an observer — supporting the Risk Management Function for Swiss Re Europe (SRE), its UK Branch (SRE UK), and Swiss Re Africa (SRAf). From regulatory reporting to risk frameworks and board‑level presentations, you’ll be involved in work that shapes how a global reinsurer understands and manages its risk landscape.

Key Responsibilities Contribute to managing and monitoring the operational risk framework of SRAf (including the Risk Control Self‑Assessment process, analysis and resolution of operational events and issues and mitigation actions), and document material changes to any aspects of the risk profile.
