4T Surgical ICU Acuity Adaptable Unit - Jackson - 36 hours/week

Two years inpatient ICU or high acuity unit experience. Some leadership such as charge required.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

+ The Clinical Unit Leader (CUL) under general supervision from the department manager and/or director, and in accordance with policies and guidelines established within the organization and individual unit, priority is to function as shift supervisor and clinical liaison with staff, physicians, and management, providing continuity of leadership day to day.

+ The CUL, in conjunction with the Department Manager, acts as a supervisor, role model, mentor, coach, and resource person to staff to ensure that all unit standards are maintained, and a team-oriented work environment is maintained.

+ The CUL is involved in attracting, developing, maintaining, and retaining qualified staff members.
