About the unit

The Family Birth Center is a 12-bed unit with potential to overflow to 17 patients averaging 700-800 births per year. The patient population consists of labor and delivery, mother and baby, triage, C-sections, caring for newborns, unstable newborns until they are transferred. Cross trained to all aspects of antepartum. Patients are seen a month before delivery.
