RN - Labor and Delivery

This position involves providing care in the labor and delivery unit. The unit has 13 beds, plus 2 triage rooms and 2 operating rooms. There are typically 34 staff members in the unit. Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 1 CST, and 3-5 RNs depending on census. Night shift staffing includes similar personnel based on census. Patient ratios usually range from 1:1 to 1:2. The unit utilizes GE EFM and EMR systems like CPN and Meditech. Preferred candidates may have scrub capability and charge experience. Typical procedures performed include inductions and cesarean sections, as well as TOLAC. Ideal candidates will possess an upbeat and positive attitude. The role requires working 4 weekend shifts and 1 on-call shift per schedule. Holiday scheduling will be discussed if indicated.
