**Description**

UNC Medical Center Cardiology Specialty Care Unit – New Graduate RN Opportunity _(November/December Start Date)_

About the Unit

+ 20-bed unit with a mix of step-down and acute care beds
+ Patient diagonses includes: myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmia
+ Care includes: pre and post cardiac catheterization & electrophysiology procedures (pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator placements, ablations)

Position Details

+ 36 hours per week
+ Rotating day/night shifts + weekends
+ Self-scheduling to balance individual and unit needs
+ Must be eligible for RN licensure in North Carolina prior to start

New Graduate Residency Program Eligibility:

+ Final semester nursing students or graduates within the past 12 months
+ Less than 6 months of RN experience
