**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our **NICU Registered Nurse** , you will help premature and critically ill newborns and their families receive comprehensive, round-the-clock care so they can achieve optimal health outcomes and navigate the challenges of early life. Everyday you will coordinate total patient care for assigned newborns, including continuous monitoring and specialized interventions. You will be expected to assess and interpret age-specific patient data, manage specialized neonatal equipment, and provide crucial family support and education. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles over the life-span, effectively coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center.
