Job Description:

Seeking an RN with PCU experience who can read strips for the Med/Tele unit. The role involves managing patients with cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and more within a 32-bed unit.

Responsibilities:

• Manage nurse:patient ratios of 1:4-5, occasionally 1:3 for PCU level care overflow.
• Titrate common drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and others as required.
• Read and interpret tele/monitor strips using portable monitors and stationary monitors in rooms.
• Provide assistance in floating all areas as helping hands, including full patient loads in PCU and MS, and some ER Holds/boarding.
