Scope Of Work


The Vascular Access RN is a preferred bachelor's prepared RN who demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients requiring difficult/advanced IV access. TheVascular Access RN places ultrasound guided PIV, PICC lines and extended dwell peripheral IV catheters. The Vascular Access Team monitors and maintains; troubleshoots, declots, and repositions these vascular access devices for all adult inpatient units.
