This is a PRN non benefited position in Wound Care. Hours may vary depending on the need.

General Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the coordination of wound care, ostomy care, and preservation of skin integrity. These include, but are not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluation, and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

·Provides specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management, and acts as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.

·Participates in policy development as it pertains to wound, skin care, and ostomies.

·Participates in IDT and/or Physician rounding.
