**Job Description**

**UW Medical Center – Northwest** has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working at our Childbirth Center. We have opportunity for an **experienced nurse in Labor and Delivery or Nursery Care Unit** **/Neonatal ICU**

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
_include but not limited to_

+ The autonomy to practice to highest level of license.
+ Assist in the labor and delivery process
+ Administration of medication, including epidurals.
+ Help mother and baby in baby’s first breastfeeding
+ Assist in mother and baby couplet care.

**SCHEDULE:**

+ 90% Night shift (36hrs.Weekly)

**REQUIREMENTS:**

+ **Two or more years** as a Labor and Delivery Nurse or Level II or higher Neonatal ICU
+ Have/Obtain a RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL.
+ Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
