Duties & Responsibilities

The Route Controller is responsible for the preparation of the daily delivery plan, monitoring the progress of deliveries, and communicating the route revisions to the customer as well as the events that will have an impact on the customer's delivery.

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Daily Route Planning.
• Use daily volume requirement to prepare the daily delivery plan.
• Plan bust routes and ensure minimal impact on customer.
• Agree delivery schedule revisions with customer.
• Daily Vehicle Monitoring. Monitor delivery progress.
• Report incidents en route that may impact on deliveries.
• Customer Communication.
