About the role

We are seeking a Route Planner to assist the Transport Team in ensuring that drivers are routed and scheduled in the most efficient way while delivering service excellence.

As the Route Planner you will be responsible for planning routes for drivers coming out of our Slough depot, maximising cases per vehicle and managing the volume of cases per vehicle.

You will work closely with the Transport Team to ensure that all routing and planning complies with drivers’ working hours and any customer requirements, ensuring that the drivers deliver service excellence to our customers.

You will plan the order of deliveries according to agreed timescales, taking into consideration any customer requirements, and you will have a good awareness of legal requirements such as the Working Time Directive so that routes accommodate these constraints.
