In this position, the RPN will take charge of nursing duties while adhering to Ontario’s CNO standards. Responsibilities include managing care for less-complex clients, collaborating with RNs, and engaging in direct patient care activities. Leadership, time management, and effective communication skills are required to support exceptional patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage less-complex patient care plans
• Collaborate with RNs for more complex cases
• Evaluate and modify care plans with clients
• Provide leadership as a preceptor to nursing students
• Participate in nursing committees and data collection
Requirements:
• Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid CPR certification required
• At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
