The jobholder is responsible for providing RTIMS expertise in instrumentation and control engineering to ensure the operating condition for the respective equipment to support Borouge’s operations and systems in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer’s user guide and engineering standards, and relevant ADNOC and international standards. This role includes analysing operational issues and designing and configuring RTIMS modifications related to logics, graphics, hardware, and other system interfaces to ensure smooth operation of the plant; conducting obsolescence studies and budgeting for RTIMS systems; maintaining backups for RTIMS systems; monitoring, maintaining, and carrying out improvements in RTIMS systems to achieve optimum availability; playing the role of system architect to design and implement RTIMS automation systems for new projects and improvements in the existing plant.
