Duties & Responsibilities  
Inspect and prepare steel surfaces, degrease, grit blast to SA 2.5 / SA 3, and verify surface profile before lining. 
Cut, fit and install cold bond or hot vulcanised rubber lining sheets to chutes, hoppers, launders, and pipes per engineering drawings. 
Apply adhesives, primers, and bonding agents according to manufacturer specifications and cure times. 
Use skiving tools, rollers, and presses to ensure full contact and eliminate air pockets. 
Perform hot vulcanisation: operate autoclaves, heating blankets, and temperature controls safely. 
Conduct spark testing and visual QC checks to ensure lining integrity and delamination. 
Read and interpret drawings, lining specifications, and work packs from engineers and planners.
