Health and safety engineers interact with workers across an organization to evaluate safety programs, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions. They also must be able to develop a rapport with employers and employees when interviewing them during investigations.
Responsibilities
- Design and present training to teach our staff how to remain safe in the event of a disaster.
- Provide regular training regarding the safe usage of company equipment and processes.
- Create different methods to mitigate health and safety risks.
- Inspect facilities, machinery, and processes to identify ways in which risks can be minimized.
- Remain up to date on any new rules and regulations regarding health and safety in the workplace.
