Functionally reporting to the Corporate Safety Department and administratively reporting to the Project Manager/Project In-Charge.
Monitor the implementation of the OSH Procedures & Safety Plan at the project site.
Monitor project site compliance with standards and procedures promulgated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Working Conditions, Health and Safety Division.
Conduct safety educational training/orientation for all levels at the project site prior to work.
Conduct accident investigations, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct daily safety inspections in the workplace to ensure protection of the workers and environment.
Conduct periodic safety walkthroughs with the PM / PIC.
Conduct daily toolbox talks.
Issue stop-work orders if work shows potential hazards or imminent danger.
