About the Role
The Safety Engineer ensures system safety and regulatory compliance throughout the engine lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA along development phases and engine lifecycle
- Define safety methodology and objectives
- Assess failure conditions and mitigation strategies.
- Participate in accident/incident investigations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems
- Solid understanding of turbofan architectures and Test results analysis (including engine build-up and dressing, AGB, ECU, modules FAN/LPC/HPC/HPT/LPT/TRF/OGV…, sub-systems and their integration constraints)
- Strong knowledge of certification rules (CS-E, FAR33, ARP4754A,STANAG, MIL-HDBK…), safety analysis FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA, ZSA and methodologies (SORA, SAIL Class, We...
